Parent's Corner

Parents as Equal Partners in the Education of Their Children, a resolution adopted by the Board of Education in December 2010, embraces family strengths and assets as essential to the academic success of students, and recognizes parents as the first and most important lifelong teachers of their children. To that end, a Task Force of parents, community leaders, teachers, and LAUSD administrators wrote the "Parents as Equal Partners" report, which supports collaboration between home and school to ensure student success. Phoenix High School welcomes parental and community engagement in school decision-making, and urges all parents to become familiar with the "Parents as Equal Partners" report.
